For 2017, the interior has been completely redesigned and reimagined. Taking cues from the F-150’s latest redesign, the F-250 has all the creature comforts that you would expect from a modern truck and more. Aluminum has also been put to use throughout the construction of the F-250. Not only did this make for a lighter truck, but for the first time the F-250 gets to take advantage of a fully boxed frame that will deliver unprecedented levels of towing capability. Test drive yours today to see exactly what we mean.
With conventional towing, the F-250 has a lot of capability. With the gasoline powerplant, you can tow up to 15,000 pounds. The diesel also provides 15,000 pounds of capability with the Regular Cab and Super Cab, but with the Crew cab, it manages an astounding 18,000 pounds of towing capacity.
There are two engine options for the F-250. Those who prefer to stick with regular gas can enjoy the 385 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque that the 6.2-liter V8 can provide. If you upgrade to diesel then the 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 Turbo Diesel will give you 440 horsepower with 925 pound-feet of torque.
With gooseneck towing or 5th wheel towing, the F-250 can kick things up a notch above the already impressive conventional towing figures. The gasoline engine can provide up to 15,700 pounds of gooseneck towing capability, and the diesel pushes things further with 18,700 pounds of capability.
